About

I’m Terilyn, the woman behind Haightlove, a space created for others to explore their own spirituality. I grew up in the Bay Area as an only child in a home shaped by domestic violence. As a Filipino, Chinese, and white woman, I often moved between cultures and generations, feeling like I was navigating life on my own.

I’ve always been someone who was guarded and doubted myself, keeping my feelings and fears close. As I moved through my twenties, childhood wounds began to surface—first as anxiety and panic attacks, then as chronic health issues that couldn’t be ignored. Those experiences forced me to confront myself in ways I never had before.

Through my journey, I discovered my own spiritual gifts and explored healing practices from teachers across many traditions. I realized that spirituality doesn’t need to be complicated. At its core, it’s about connecting with yourself, building self-awareness, and living in alignment with what feels true to you.

Haightlove is named after my childhood home on Haight Street in San Francisco. It’s a reminder that love and hardship can coexist, and that even in chaos, balance is possible.

Creating Haightlove has been an honor and a joy—holding space for others and witnessing their growth is what makes this work so meaningful.
